In the middle of a big wedding event in Chennai, a Patron called up from Malaysia for a destination wedding photography contract.
A beautiful couple tied the knot of marriage, where the guy did not have to get on his knees, say those three magical words, and surprise her. Despite being in Malaysia our groom was a little old fashioned and he did not wish to show love to her bride by proposing to her, as he is a kind of old-fashioned person.
One day an aunt introduced our groom Nagraj to the girl named Nisha, she was so beautiful that our groom felt the magical spark when he saw her for the first time. So, after the girl left he asked Aunt about her date of birth and time. It was a surprise for him as her Mom’s birthday also falls on the same day i.e 16th of August.
After which Nagraj chose to meet an astrologer and verify things himself about the good match and things to take further. The astrologer too gave a green signal saying “Porutham and it says subham”, which means its a very good match and you can go ahead.
On the 25th of May, she was leaving for Singapore and he texted her saying…
Nagraj: Hi, this is Nagraj here..
How are you?
Nisha: Hey I am Good…
Nagraj: If you are free tomorrow can we meet up for a coffee?
Nisha: Ya sure.
Nagraj: Paparich Bangsar at 6.00 PM
Nisha: Done.
and that’s how the first meetup happened. she got him brownies baked by her, as she was very good at baking though. so, that’s how more and more meetings kept happening, and finally one fine day our lovely groom invited Nisha to her sister’s wedding Reception. He requested her to bake a cake as well, she baked it and he did not even pay her. He still owes her RM200. But, he knew that this debt was going to be on him lifelong and he started feeling that he wanted to spend the rest of her life with Nisha.
Despite having lots of Ups and Downs in life Nisha stayed with him as a good friend and he got a strong spark that he loves her strongly. On his birthday both the families thought of getting them married and by next month our couple exchanged their rings. Later, they came to India for a trip and started with their shopping and wedding stuff.
Booking their wedding photographers and videographers as the wedding was Traditionally happening in Malaysia, to be named as the Destination Wedding Photography.
There were no knee downs, no western proposal (which has been a discontent by her and still asking for it). For him heart matters if the hearts connect better then they do not need anything fancy to formalize it, sounds old-fashioned but that’s the truth.
It has been a year of love and they have lots of understanding built under one roof, which is practically needed. It’s super glad and happy to have such clients, we pray that both stay happily ever after for the years to come and build memories together. There’s always love beyond what you think it could have been.
Marriages would be better if the husband and the wife clearly understood that they are on the same side.
